Restoration and regulatory compliance measures on the Jappellian former slaughterhouse (now Pietro Selvatico Institute) in Padua
The job consists in designing the mechanical and electrical systems engineering to restore the well-known Jappellian former slaughterhouse in Padua in order to re-open the spaces for teaching, art school, and work activities. Given the complexity of the location and the building, the project was divided into two functional parts: the first involves refurbishing the historical body, while the second involves the East pavilion and the current prefabricated construction.The Temporary Joint Venture created includes Studio Berlucchi, AI Progetti, Sartori Architettura, Manuel Cattani, and Carlotta Cocco.
