Project description

The plant is a concentrating solar power plant using molten salt, in particular
the Solar Salt mixture with 60% w/w sodium nitrate NaNO3 and 40% w/w
potassium nitrate KNO3, as primary heat transfer fluid at linear Fresnel
collectors as well as storage medium in a direct two tank storage system.
Salt is pumped from the hot storage tank to the solar steam generation unit
where the heat is transferred to the water steam Rankine cycle for steam
generation.
